We ate here but we’re already staying elsewhere. Food was fantastic. Imaginative, tasty, perfectly cooked and presented. We really enjoyed our meal and drink. Service excellent too.

Nice rooms but bar staff are rude and ignored me when we came up to order. They were not on hand to help at all and just told me to ask someone else, utterly bad service and needs improvement.

Would not recommend. Rooms are stunning but if a function is going on very noisy. In my entire life this is the only time I have ever left a hotel room at 1130 at night and gone home. Due to the noise. Still waiting for a phone call from manager. Meal we had that evening was very poor, not much on menu with missing items. Poor service, over priced no ice cream no custard. Badly made coffees. Seriously over priced for what you get. If you want to stay in a nice hotel in historic cirencester try corinium court, or Fleece.

Came to celebrate my sister's hen party, the spa team were incredible, the food was out of this world and the rooms were delightful. Thankyou so much for all the support from the team making it a perfect weekend.

We had an amazing short break in this beautiful hotel. Amazing location, superb facilities (the spa in the vault was superb and the massage amazing!) Food excellent and the room so gorgeous. We will definitely return!

If we weren’t owed an afternoon tea, we wouldn’t be back! We were lucky to be given an afternoon tea (for two) voucher by a friend. I booked via email and (after me moving the booking once) we arranged to go on 9th November at 2pm. We arrived and asked about afternoon tea at the bar, to which we were abruptly told that the KH ‘only do afternoon tea for groups of 8 or more’. I explained that we had booked and they checked their bookings, but were unable to find ours. They checked with a colleague and then asked if I had a confirmation email. I said I did and found it, but I had to go for a walk around the town to get a signal to find the email (no offer of WiFi or to check their emails). I found the email and after showing it, they saw who had booked it and explained they no longer worked there (insinuating they had been sacked/weren’t very good at their job), I found this unprofessional as that wasn’t my concern. They explained that they could ‘see what they could do’. I suggested that we leave it as I wasn’t happy to accept something they had to throw together at the last minute. We were offered to re book at the front desk, where I had to give my details for the new booking. I had to do this twice due to a system issue. When giving my details, I was asked for my surname which I said, only to be asked ‘isn’t that your first name?’. I think I know my own name, thanks? 🤔 Overall a poor experience. We did get some complimentary Prosecco added to our booking (now in January), but this was really the minimum they could have done. After that 45 minute ordeal, we went down the road to Toro Lounge and had a lovely lunch.

Terrible experience at the Kings head in Cirencester. The service was so poor, with tables being served food that had come in much later than ours. The portions were miniscule in comparison to the prices, our table was served eventually with half the food with the rest arriving 10 minutes later. And even though we had paid a deposit, we had been fully charged with a service charge as well. If I could give minus stars, we would. awful!!

We recently had our wedding here and could not recommend this venue enough. Daisy has been amazing from start to finish and no question or request has ever been too much for her. Daisy is organised, reliable, easy to communicate with, kind and friendly. She makes the whole process easy and allows you to enjoy the day so much more by organising everything herself. We can't thank you enough Daisy for your continued hard work to make sure our day was so special, we couldn't have done it without you. In terms of the venue, it's also perfect. The rooms are beautiful, specious and comfortable, and offer plenty of room for bridal prep. The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The wedding rooms to offer are sensational, the assembly room is grand and beautiful. It's modern but also has character, and can be very versatile for decorations. We then had our evening down in the vaulted cellar, which creates such an amazing atmosphere for the evening. The food throughout the day could not be faulted. The food was delicious, and served in a timely and professional manner. They also did not get one order wrong, which I'm sure is difficult for so many guests. We could not recommend the Kings Head and Daisy enough and they both deserve all the recognition. So many guests have told us it is the best wedding they have attended. Thank you again for allowing us the most special and amazing wedding day.

I visited the MBB brasserie and was incredibly impressed by the exceptional service and the food. I met with the lovely Manager Ionela who was simply charming and helpful. Additionally I was served by Ciaron, Antonina and Samira, all of whom were so polite and welcoming. I would heartily recommend this fine establishment.

We received a truly warm welcome from Veronica on our arrival. She is so friendly and helpful. A real asset to this fabulous hotel. The hotel is situated in the town, perfect location for shopping, restaurants, and going out and about. Parking was very reasonably priced in the carpark. The hotel carpark is very small and has to be booked. The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and a large bathroom. We liked that it had a bath with a shower. Plus, armchairs to sit and read. A tiny issue was the wardrobe. You can't hang anything long inside easily because of the mini fridge and safe. But there was an iron and board available in the room. The service we received from all staff was exceptionally high, especially in the brasserie. The quality of food is fantastic, everything is presented superbly, and it tastes delicious. We got the impression staff are very happy working here, and we could feel it in the way we were treated with such kindness. A very memorable trip, thank you.

Lovely hotel in a central location. Stayed in one of the upper floor rooms with beamed ceiling, really nice. Breakfast was superb, good service. Recommended

we went to the comedy night this evening. The comedy acts were really good however the night was marred by poor organisation. We arrived 20 minutes early and all the seats were taken. People came in and were standing, staff eventually carried chairs downstairs. We then had to wait 20 minutes at the bar to be served. The breaks between acts were too long 15/20 minutes which meant that the actual time spent watching comedy was significantly reduced. The final act, who was brilliant, only had 20 minutes to perform. The compere took up too much time, not only did he perform at the beginning but before each act which was too much! The time could've been better spent just watching the comedy acts we had paid to come to see. The evening finished at 10:40 and started at 8 pm. In two hours 40 minutes there was very little stage time given to comedy acts. This will definitely put us off coming again.

We spent a short break here which is situated in the middle Cirencester, a fabulous location. The staff were so lovely it was like being with family. They were so attentive and made you feel at home immediately Will certainly look to return soon

Great hotel. Our room overlooked the market place which was lovely. Breakfast was excellent as was the quality of the food. Right in the heart of a lovely town. Would recommend this hotel.

Many thanks to the staff at the Kings Head for making our wedding anniversary stay at the hotel so memorable. Special thanks to Joanne for arranging a special treat at our evening meal and for the handwritten note left in our room. The food was superb and the girls serving us were very professional and friendly. Highly recommend the restaurant. Breakfast was also very good with some excellent hot food choices and an excellent continental choice. Our spa experience was amazing. Amanda and Paula put us at ease and made us very comfortable. The treatments were excellent. An added dimension to a perfect stay. The location of the hotel is superb. We didn’t use the car once and we enjoyed exploring Chichester on foot. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and hope to return sometime soon.

Everything costs extra and expensive! Small Jar of Jellybeans in the room £9?? Spa was also extra. Beautiful church and lovely village.

Our stay at the hotel was thoroughly enjoyable. A combination of seeing friends nearby, and celebrating my wife's birthday. A personal touch of a hand-written note and chocolates from Joanna and her team was a lovely touch, and much appreciated by my wife. A distinctly 'character' hotel with retained period features consumate with a 16thcentury Coaching Inn, added to the oveall ambiance. A good selection of menu choices in the restaurant for the evening meal whether you went a-la-carte or fixed price. Breakfast also provided a good selection of both cooked, and/or continental offerings. The positioning of the hotel with ease of access to the vast array of shops, in the town centre is reflective of the pricing, but we found the staff, polite and accommodating, and would not hesitate to recommend.

A beautiful spot in the centre of a beautiful place. The staff are the most friendly team I have had the pleasure to meet. They cannot do more for you and are so polite. Our room was an unexpected surprise, large and well equipped. Comfortable bed, lovely spacious bathroom and lots of little flourishes which made our stay extra special. We celebrated our ten year anniversary here and were greeted with a lovely handwritten note and some delicious choccos. The breakfast, oh my! Such a vast array of quality pastries, cereals, juices, meats, cheeses…. And the full English was locally sourced scrumptiousness. Highly recommend. Will not dissapoint.
